Keeping your eyes on the prize

Life goals

With all the hoopla concerning our economic environment we have incredible opportunities to choose the path we take in this experience. We can take the trail of fear, despair and concern in which we encounter stress, anxiety and worry. Or we can choose the route of creation, freedom and adventure.

This time in our world is not only historical, it is an event of epic proportions in a way that truly excites me. We are all being called to be true to ourselves, our higher selves and the divine passion within us. This is why it’s so important to stay present to what we are creating in our life experience. If you can keep your focus on what you want, on what you are manifesting, on your dreams, you will not only thrive, you will prosper and flourish.

But here’s the snag…we can easily find agreement in the world around us and the media to prove things in our everyday lives are difficult. It’s easy to look at our economic challenges, lost jobs, decreased wages, and other problems and buy into the fear.

The keys to the kingdom are realizing the ease of maintaining your focus on what you are creating, on your dreams and surrounding yourself with people who share this mindset. A successful archer isn’t lackadaisical about the bull’s-eye. An Olympic athlete doesn’t train occasionally. They both practice consistent and unwavering commitment to their goal. Staying focused is simple. It takes passion, practice, and dedication, but it’s simple.

When you wake up in the morning think about what you want, be aware of why you want this, delight in having it, and as you move through your day remind yourself of what truly matters to you, how grateful you are to be freely choosing your journey and creating the life of your dreams – no matter what it looks like today.

Your experience of your life today was created by your thoughts in the past…today is today…be present and keep your eye on the prize – your dream! No one can take that from you. If you find yourself going south, down the tunnel of stress or anxiety – stop and refocus yourself on what you desire, possibilities, and dreams. Remind yourself what you’re doing and why you’re doing it, and how you’re doing it. You’ll stay focused, productive and in the present.

You will find wealth in all areas – mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. You’ll easily see what is important and what’s not. Now enjoy living that amazing life of yours!!
