Using Intuition When Life is Crazy

Life Can Be Crazy

Hey there, friend!

In the whirlwind of our daily lives, where the buzz of notifications never seems to quiet down and our to-do lists feel like they’re on a never-ending loop, it’s easy to feel disconnected from that inner voice that guides us. You know, that gentle nudge or that gut feeling that seems to know exactly what’s right for you. Yep, I’m talking about your intuition—your soul’s GPS, your inner sage, your cosmic hotline, whatever you want to call it. In these loud, crazy-busy times, tapping into your intuitive gifts might feel like trying to hear a whisper at a rock concert.

I get this request a lot in my intuitive coaching practice – please tell me how I can hear and know it’s my intuition when life is so loud? It can be challenging to receive divine guidance when life is busy. And yes, I always recommend cultivating a meditation practice along with stillness and mindfulness practices as a strong foundation for intuition. Still there can sometimes be an underlying question if what we are receiving is divine truth or just noise.

I hear ya, my friends, we all go through cycles of our growth, we know the challenges we face are for our own refinement so that we can become what we are here to be. Sometimes we need an extra tweak to keep us deeply rooted and plugged into our intuition.

So here are a couple of easy conscious strategies to help you reconnect and receive your inner guidance, even amidst the chaos.

Create Quiet Spaces out of thin air….

First off, let’s talk about creating quiet spaces. And no, you don’t need to build an actual fortress of solitude (though, how cool would that be?). I’m not talking about creating a meditation room, (although that would be awesome!) for the purpose of this blog we’re focusing on quick and easy access to center and ground you – deepening your connection to being rooted – for those times when your regular practice needs a little umpf.

Creating a quiet space can be as simple as taking a few moments in silence. Whether it’s the elevator ride to your office, while you’re washing your hands, or taking a sip of your hot coffee. In this moment, use this time to just be with yourself. This quiet time is sacred, it’s reverence, it’s your chance to let the universe know you are listening.

Nature’s Nurture

Never underestimate the power of spending time in nature to reconnect with your inner self. And long walks through the forests or along the beach always support us connecting with the natural rhythm, but what do you do when you have to catch a plane to do a big speaking gig, don’t have time for a long walk on the beach? To have sustainability as a professional intuitive we must learn how to use our tools anywhere we are, planes, trains or automobiles.

When you are on the go and need to tap into nature I recommend wearing crystals, whether as jewelry or tucked away unseen. If you are feeling the swirl of busyness try  a little shungite, hematite, or smoky quartz. Another way to tap into nature on the go is with a green drink, if it’s organic and cold pressed you are getting the essence of the plant. A third way to connect with nature on the go is with water, either drinking it or washing your hands.

Nature has a way of quieting the noise and helping you to tune into the natural rhythm of life. Even in the loud world you can allow nature’s serenity to envelop you and awaken your intuitive senses, even in an airport terminal.

Energy Check-Ins

Your energy is your personal currency; spend it wisely. Regularly check in with yourself to see where your energy is going. Are you spending it on things that nourish your soul and bring you joy? Or are you depleting it on things that drain you? When you are busy being successful it’s easy to forget to do an energy check in.

This can be as simple as taking a breath and asking yourself where have I been sending my energy (or focus) today? Do I feel full or empty? Have I replenished my energy supply today?

Learning to manage your energy wisely can help you stay aligned with your intuition, because intuition speaks the loudest when there is room for it to land.

Synchronicity or Coincidence?

Synchronicities are like the universe’s way of winking at us. I like to say there are no such things as coincidences when you begin to see the world through the eyes of an intuitive. Synchronicities are reminders that we’re on the right path. Pay attention to the signs, symbols, and synchronicities that show up in your life. They can be guiding posts, leading you towards your highest good.

Do the Trust Fall

Lastly, and most importantly, practice trust. Trusting your intuition is like building a muscle; it gets stronger with use. When things are busy and somewhat chaotic it can pinch off our intuitive pipeline. If this happens you know you can easily practice any of the steps above with trust, believing and knowing you are connected. In times of loudness, the way you can trust and know your intuition is online is by how the information feels when you receive it. Remember divine guidance is always directing you without scaring you, it’s strong and true – it may be saying calmly pull over, not screaming OMG you’re going to have a wreck?

Navigating life’s chaos with your intuition isn’t about silencing the world around you; it’s about tuning into the world within you. Remember, your intuition is a gift—one that’s uniquely yours. It’s there to guide you, protect you, and lead you towards your true path. So, even when life gets loud and crazy busy, know that your inner wisdom is just a moment away.  This is also why I was guided to create these short meditative activations I call “Cosmic Bites” quick and easy ways to access these spaces when we don’t have a lot of time…
